Tankzors on your cellphone

You have just found a new game…tan-tar-a…Tankzors! It’s a Java game based on the classic NES game Battle City. Remember it? You don’t? Heh!

You are a tank and you drive around and blow the heck out of everything in sight. Tankzors are pretty simple. Sometimes you have to blow up the enemy, and other times you have to make your way through walls or other obstacles. You will get coins for every crushed enemy. With the help of these coins you can upgrade your tank and install 35 various types of weapons available through the game’s “workshop” feature. There are 40 different mission levels to complete – in the desert, roaming through the dunes, at the enemy’s base, making your way through steel and concrete or fighting your enemies in vast grass fields. On each level you can pick up different power-ups. You will have to learn what weapons to spend your money on in order to pass a specific level. In addition to that you can download extra levels from the Internet.

It’s a “must-try” game, check it out! Tankzors manages to combine elements of strategy and skill in a manner that is still easy to play.

We wanted to describe Tankzors as “the best java game” and… we didn’t it. Because we actually don’t know – is it “the best” or not?
